About Patty

Hey! I am Patty, and welcome to Girl with Blue Energy. I am a mental health content creator and YouTuber on a mission to share my blue energy with the world.

You might wonder why I call myself “the Girl with Blue Energy”. Blue energy is a word that came to me during meditation and means positive energy or good energy. This “blue energy” has gotten me through many tough days. During that meditation, I was lead to be more authentically me and share this blue energy with others.

I also have bipolar disorder and have struggled with mental health for as long as I can remember. Over the years, I have learned that bipolar disorder is manageable and that you can live a happy and fulfilling life even if you have a mental illness.

Most people don’t realize I have a mental illness because I’ve learned to manage it so well, but it wasn’t always this way. My struggle is what inspired me to create Girl with Blue Energy.

Talking openly about mental health on YouTube isn’t easy, but my goal is to inspire, educate, and create a safe space for anyone living with a mental health disorder

from mentally ill to

Mental Health Content Creator

I have a lot of people in my life who know my story. I went from someone who had a difficult start in life to someone who built a successful business. Even though I always struggled with my mental health, I started a successful website for moms when I was 31. In 2008, I sold that business for more money than I ever dreamed of, and I thought it was going to change my life.

What I learned from having money is that it doesn’t fix your mental health, your marriage, or your kids’ mental health. And if your mental health isn’t managed and your life is out of control, you can lose it all.

After going through a mental health crisis with my own child, leaving a bad marriage, and eventually finding my way to stability, I decided to start talking about it. Sometimes, finding your voice comes through struggles, but I hope that my journey as a mental health content creator will help someone else.

So please stick around. I hope you feel loved and supported. And if you’re new here, be sure to check out my YouTube channel, Girl with Blue Energy, and subscribe!
