Say Hello to my January Cleaning Calendar
Try my January cleaning calendar for one month. I made it for you! My mission is to help people with Bipolar Disorder and ADHD live a more balanced and fulfilling life.
Have you always wanted to have a clean house but found housework difficult to keep up with? If that sounds like you, I created my cleaning calendars just for you (and me!)
Even if you have ADHD, Bipolar Disorder, or severe depression, you can still have a house that you’re proud of. I created my January cleaning calendar for people like me.
However, I do want to be honest. Anyone can print out my cute ADHD cleaning calendars, but your house will not magically clean itself. You must get committed to changing patterns and habits in your life if you want my January cleaning calendar to work!
Let’s make 2024 your year to get organized. Before you print my January calendar, I want you to understand that messiness can be a symptom of Bipolar Disorder, ADHD, depression, and anxiety. A messy house is reflective of your mental state. If you want your mental health to improve, you can start by changing the atmosphere that you live in.
This time, let’s do things differently and not repeat your old ways. You know — print off the calendar, write your to-do lists, and fantasize about the clean house you’re going to have. Or, clean for three days straight (maybe you’ll make it to three weeks this time) and then, fall completely off the wagon…
The secret to real change is to start small and stay small. Until those small habits are so ingrained in you that they are actual habits – not another new plan you’re trying to stick with.
This is how I started getting my house (and life in order).
I started with three simple daily tasks. I remember being utterly disgusted with myself. I could even do just these three things consistently. If you want to get organized, and see your house clean every day, not just once in a while, start with three habits.
You’re going to want to jump all in, print out the January cleaning calendar and GO. But don’t. Start with three habits (you can create your own if my habits aren’t ideal for you). Once you are consistent with your three habits for at least three weeks, then print out my cleaning calendar and start using it.
Each month, I will have a new calendar for you to follow. You can change your life, but you have to stop trying to do it all at one time. Change takes time, but you can do it. Let’s make 2024 the year we make progress.

January Cleaning Calendar: Start Here
Start with these three habits. Don’t jump into the cleaning calendar. Just do these three things every single day. Commit to these three habits. When you’ve successfully done this for 3 weeks, then start using my cleaning calendars.
- Make your bed every morning
- Do one load of laundry (this means wash, dry, and put it away!
- Do the dishes before you go to bed
Detail clean the kitchen
Once you have done the dishes every night for three weeks, then step it up a notch. This is my detail cleaning list for the kitchen. I do this every night, but I didn’t start doing this until after I was successful with the first 3 easy habits.
- Wash, dry, and put away dishes
- Clean stove - wipe down all surfaces
- Clean kitchen appliances: microwave, coffee maker, toaster, etc
- Clear off table and counters
- Wipe off counters and table
- Sweep floor and rugs
- Take out trash/recyclables
- Spot clean walls, light switches, refrigerator door, and cabinets
- Wipe down trash can
