It took me years to get organized. Then one day I decided I was doing it. I started with three simple daily tasks. And, it took me a while to do just these three things consistently. If you want to get organized, and see your house clean every day, not just once in a while, use my May cleaning calendar to help you stay on track.
Each month, I will have a new calendar for you to follow. You can change your life, one day at a time.
Want to get your house clean?
Start with these three habits. Don’t jump into the calendar. Just do these three things every single day. Get commited to these three habits. When you’ve successfully done this for 3 weeks, then start using my cleaning calendars.
- Make your bed every morning
- Do one load of laundry (this means wash, dry, and put it away!
- Do the dishes before you go to bed
Detail clean the kitchen
Once you have done the dishes every night for three weeks, then step it up a notch. This is my detail cleaning list for the kitchen. I do this every night, but I didn’t start doing this until after I was successful with the first 3 easy habits.
- Wash, dry, and put away dishes
- Clean stove - wipe down all surfaces
- Clean kitchen appliances: microwave, coffee maker, toaster, etc
- Clear off table and counters
- Wipe off counters and table
- Sweep floor and rugs
- Take out trash/recyclables
- Spot clean walls, light switches, refrigerator door, and cabinets
- Wipe down trash can
Use my May cleaning calendar
I made this cleaning calendar easy to follow. Trust me if I can do this you can do this.
